Jade R

Jade Regaliza, Marketing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, exemplifies servant leadership that is built on people first collaboration, consistent innovation, and a relentless focus on team success. With a wealth of experience spanning industries like banking, retail, manufacturing and IT, Jade joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2022 with a mission to build the Creative Services Hub in Manila from an idea. Today, she leads a team of 40+, driving the company’s marketing support for the Americas. In this employee spotlight, Jade shares insights on her career journey, the importance of leadership, and what it means to build a thriving team from the ground up.

What inspired your career journey into marketing, and how did that path lead you to Cushman & Wakefield?

My journey into marketing started back in college when I earned my degree in Communications, majoring in advertising. The path after graduation was to join a design or advertising agency, which I did as an account manager. However, after just six months, I realized I wanted to be on the client side—calling the shots and driving brand strategy. This desire led me to over a decades long front-end marketing career across different industries, including banking, manufacturing, and IT, where I grew as a marketing professional. Then, a new opportunity to run a shared services group at a Fintech company came, which gave me exposure to team management. That experience opened the door for a recruiter from Cushman & Wakefield to invite her into a Marketing Director role responsible for building the Creative Services Hub in Manila.

What aspect of your role excites you the most, and how do you stay motivated?

Building a team from the ground up from an idea has been the most exciting and rewarding part of my role. When we started the Creative Services Hub, we had about 27 people, and now we’re 40 and still growing. But what motivates me most is not just the size of the team—it’s the performance. Our stakeholders consistently praise the team’s quality and consistency of the collective team’s work. Knowing that we’re contributing to the success of the team is incredibly fulfilling. We have the opportunity to constantly innovate and make an impact. It’s not just my success—it’s our team’s collective success that drives me to keep pushing boundaries.

How has your team’s work shaped Cushman & Wakefield’s brand, and can you share a project you’re particularly proud of?

The Creative Services Hub itself is a standout project. We took what was previously outsourced and built an internal team capable of delivering high-quality, efficient results. The work we do, from producing marketing assets to supporting brokers in landing client deals, has a direct impact on the business. I’m incredibly proud of the processes we’ve put in place—processes and practices that are now being adopted by other teams. The recognition we’ve received from our U.S. colleagues as reliable, high-performing partners is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.

Collaboration is crucial in marketing. How do you foster strong partnerships with other teams?

Collaboration is at the core of everything we do. Having spent over a decade in front-end marketing, I understand the needs of the teams we support. That experience allows me to anticipate their needs and provide solutions that are both innovative and effective. It’s also about fostering a culture of continuous learning and openness to trying new things. We believe in "failing fast"—learning quickly from our mistakes and constantly improving. More than anything, the success we’ve achieved is due to the collective effort of the team. No one succeeds alone, and that’s the culture we’ve built here.

What advice would you give to someone passionate about marketing and looking to grow within a company like Cushman & Wakefield?

My advice is to always be a learner. Marketing is constantly evolving, especially with digital trends, so it’s crucial to stay up-to-date. But beyond that, I encourage aspiring marketers to be analytical. Data should be the foundation of your decisions, whether you’re developing a campaign or shaping a brand strategy. And, of course, never underestimate the power of teamwork. Success is always a reflection of the team behind you.

How has Cushman & Wakefield’s culture and values influenced your approach to leadership?

Cushman & Wakefield’s strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) has deeply influenced the way I lead. DEI isn’t just a corporate value here—it’s part of our daily actions, which shows how seriously the company takes it. The culture at Cushman & Wakefield is built around the idea that our business is people, and that’s something I see mirrored from my leadership team and in my own team. I strive to create an inclusive, collaborative environment where everyone feels valued. It’s a shared vision for success that inspires me every day.

Jade Regaliza’s servant leadership is a testament to the power of empowering teams, collaboration, and continuous learning. Under her guidance, Cushman & Wakefield’s Creative Services Hub has grown into a high-performing team recognized for its excellence and reliability. Jade’s journey is not just about building a successful career—it’s about building a team that thrives together, embodies the Cushman and Wakefield’s values, and delivers results that make a difference.
