Job Description Summary
This role will support a key Global Occupier Services (GOS) account in North America. The EHS professional ensures regulatory requirements, client EHS programs, and initiatives are integrated into account operations. The role ensures regulatory requirements (environmental), policies, and EHS initiatives are integrated into GOS account operations. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure GOS has a well-designed process for EHS Governance and Risk Management. Serves as a lead EHS subject matter expert on: EHS management systems, technical standards, and best practices. The role will liaise with key client representatives, GOS account teams to drive governance set by the client MSA.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports on EHS performance to the GOS Leadership team.
- Communicates the EHS vision and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates to ensure EHS requirements are implemented in accordance with the Client’s existing programs.
- Partners to ensure Zero incidents of EHS non-compliance relating to IFM Services
- Organizes EHS processes/programs for staff.
- Administers processes in alignment with the EHS Management System.
- Implements GOS EHS Corporate processes and systems.
- Implements EHS Software platforms.
- Identifies risk associated with the management of Cushman & Wakefield contractors.
- Participates in investigations of EHS nonconformances and prepares corrective action plans.
- Supports Client applicable regulatory (i.e., OSHA/EPA etc.) audits and requirements.
- Provides technical advice on EHS issues, notifications of changes, and governance that will impact service delivery and/or client occupancy.
- Monitor, track, and report on EHS KPI’s.
- Participate in internal and external EHS audit activities and contribute towards continuous improvement.
- Support response and planning activities for severe weather at affected locations
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor of Science in EHS discipline or relevant scientific or engineering field.
- Requires 5+ years of experience within the EHS profession.
- Experience within Operational Management systems and working with corporate clients.
- Strong clients focus and experience mindset.
- Experience in stakeholder and contractor management.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
- The ability to travel (approximately 10%).
- Experience with hazardous/regulated waste management is preferred.
- Experience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is desirable.
- Candidates with the ability to obtain Professional Certifications (ASP, CSP, CHMM etc.) are desirable.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 140,250.00 - $165,000.00
