As an Assistant Research Analyst, you will contribute to research activities across the Netherlands including sourcing, working with and analysing data. You will support client engagement and our brand through contributions to thought leadership collateral, regular reporting and preparation of presentations for client presentations and events.

As an Assistant Research Analyst, you will contribute to research activities across the Netherlands including sourcing, working with and analysing data. You will support client engagement and our brand through contributions to thought leadership collateral, regular reporting and preparation of presentations for client presentations and events.

The Assistant Research Analyst will develop a deep understanding of the Netherlands commercial real estate market, data landscape and the existing systems both within Cushman & Wakefield and complementary sources outside the company, with a key deliverable being enhanced data quality and consistency across the region while making data accessible to key stakeholders.

The role will involve close connectivity with EMEA research teams to align Netherlands data resources and market insight with related research deliverables in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sector Coordination & Data Management.

  • Retail Sector: lead data coordination, covering stock, rental/capital values, yields, supply, demand, vacancy rates and other related data points in support of client engagement and business development.

Brand & Client Engagement

  • Elevate the firm's market research profile in Netherlands by collaborating with Marketing to fully leverage research content.
  • Build market stakeholders and industry body network, secure speaking opportunities.
  • Prepare key client presentations to enhance client interactions.
  • Respond on business requests research information including market stats and analysis for prospecting, pitch and/or proposal materials.

Reporting

  • Produce quarterly Office MarketBeats for Netherlands market.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by analysing trends and producing reports.
  • Adapt Cushman & Wakefield’s Global and Regional research to leverage in local markets, maximizing relevance and impact.

Data Visualisation

  • Implement Power BI solutions to enhance data presentation across sectors.

Presentations & Research Support

  • Deliver presentations on market trends to key clients and provide rapid research responses for prospecting and proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Office Agency and Capital Markets departments to produce high-quality reports and insightful articles on market trends.
  • Content Localisation, Business Continuity & Organisation. Collaborate on research audits and restructuring to ensure departmental continuity and improve processes and practices.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Master's degree in research linked to the built environment preferred: Economics, Geography, Construction and the like.
  • Experience in delivering client/market-facing reports and presentations
  • Experience in data curation, analysis and insight
  • Excellence written and oral communication skills
  • Having gained on the job experience as a working student for at least two years
