Job Description Summary
Executive Summary : The Operations Executive role is a hands-on IT operations and support position responsible for ensuring smooth technology services, asset management, vendor coordination, and end-user support across the Singapore market. The position reports to the Territory Manager (TM) and serves as both an operational coordinator and technical support resource, including acting as backup leadership for site services when required. Key Purpose: The role supports the IT function by managing technology assets, procurement, telecommunications services, vendors, user training, and incident resolution. It also provides second-line technical support, assists with IT projects, and ensures compliance with service management processes and service level agreements (SLAs). Primary Areas of Responsibility: IT Asset & Procurement Management: Oversee asset inventories, audits, procurement activities, device deployment, and disposal processes. Vendor & Telecommunications Management: Coordinate with local vendors, internet service providers, and telecommunications providers while managing billing and procurement activities. End-User Technology Support: Provide desktop, mobile device, conferencing, and audio-visual support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and access-related issues. Service & Incident Management: Manage requests and incidents through ServiceNow, maintain documentation, ensure SLA compliance, and escalate issues appropriately. Technology Training & Adoption: Deliver onboarding sessions, user training, and technology adoption programs to improve employee productivity and reduce recurring issues. Project Support: Participate in testing, office moves, infrastructure refreshes, software deployments, and other IT initiatives. Leadership Support: Assist in managing Site Services Technicians and local IT Champions during the Territory Manager's absence. Success Factors: The ideal candidate combines strong technical support capabilities with operational coordination, customer service excellence, and stakeholder management skills. They must be comfortable working independently, supporting executives, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with global IT teams, vendors, and business users. Key Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Computing or related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years' experience in a corporate IT environment. Knowledge of IT service management, asset management, project support, and incident management processes. Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, Intune, Azure fundamentals, and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Strong communication, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills. ITIL Foundation certification and technical certifications are advantageous. Executive Assessment This position is best described as an IT Operations and End-User Services role with responsibility across asset lifecycle management, procurement, vendor relations, telecommunications, technical support, and user enablement. The role requires a blend of technical expertise (approximately 40%), operational/vendor management (50%), and people coordination/leadership support (10%), making it well suited for an experienced IT professional who is capable of both operational execution and frontline business support.
