Job Description Summary

The Transaction Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate real estate transactions across North America and Latin America on behalf of a global occupier client. This role partners with business stakeholders, brokerage teams, landlords, legal counsel, finance, workplace teams, and portfolio administration to develop and execute real estate strategies that align with business objectives. Responsibilities include transaction management, lease negotiations, portfolio optimization, financial analysis, governance compliance, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor while ensuring consistent service delivery and successful execution of real estate initiatives across a diverse regional portfolio.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a portfolio of lease renewals, expansions, relocations, consolidations, dispositions, acquisitions, and flexible workplace transactions throughout North America and Latin America.
  • Develop and execute transaction strategies that align with client business objectives, workplace requirements, and portfolio goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee transaction activities from initiation through execution and closeout, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and established processes.
  • Partner with internal and external brokerage teams to negotiate favorable business terms and drive successful transaction outcomes.
  • Analyze financial models, lease proposals, occupancy cost scenarios, and business cases to support client decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with legal, finance, procurement, workplace, project management, and portfolio administration teams.
  • Monitor critical dates, transaction milestones, required approvals, and documentation to ensure timely execution and risk mitigation.
  • Provide transaction updates, portfolio reporting, and executive-level recommendations to client stakeholders and account leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced service delivery across the client's real estate footprint.
  • Support account initiatives, best practice development, and continuous improvement efforts across the broader transaction management team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree

• Must obtain and hold state real estate salesperson license

• 3+ years relevant work experience in Commercial Real Estate; preferably Lease Negotiation

• Solid familiarity with and understanding of lease language and terms, the reconciliation process for Common Area Maintenance, insurance, and real estate taxes

• Proficiency in all applicable software/hardware applications, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Strong financing, budgeting, and pro forma modeling skills

• Demonstrated leadership, self-management, and problem resolution skills

• Ability to manage, review, and approve a large volume of transactions simultaneously

• Proven record of providing exceptional internal and external customer service • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to demonstrate initiative and reflect a sense of urgency by meeting or exceeding deadlines

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 86,615.00 - $101,900.00
