Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer (Institutional Interior Projects) to lead the design and delivery of large-scale institutional interior projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong conceptual design capabilities, technical expertise, client-facing experience, and the ability to manage projects from inception through execution while ensuring design excellence, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.

Job Description

Design Leadership

  • Lead the design development of institutional interior projects including educational facilities, healthcare environments, government offices, research centers, training facilities, and other public-sector spaces.

  • Develop innovative and functional design concepts aligned with client objectives, operational requirements, and project budgets.

  • Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and design narratives.

  • Ensure design solutions comply with applicable building codes, accessibility standards, and institutional guidelines.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept design through construction documentation and site execution support.

  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, engineers, vendors, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular design reviews and ensure adherence to project scope and client expectations.

Technical Expertise

  • Prepare and review space planning layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of design packages including plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and detailing.

  • Coordinate MEP, structural, and specialist consultant requirements within the design.

  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups during execution stages.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations.

  • Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

  • Address design-related queries and provide timely resolutions throughout project execution
