Job Description Summary

The role will manage the end-to-end facility operations, including staff supervision, maintenance, vendor and contract management, budget administration, compliance monitoring, and strategic planning to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective building performance.

About the Role:

  • Oversee daily facility operations and supervise building staff, ensuring services such as maintenance, engineering, janitorial, and life-safety are delivered effectively.
  • Manage vendor and service contracts, monitor compliance, review invoices, and ensure tenants and vendors meet insurance and contractual requirements.
  • Handle facility maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the property's safety, functionality, and appearance.
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, financial reports, purchase orders, documentation, compliance records, and operational reports to support facility management objectives.
  • Support people management activities, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating facility staff, while assisting with long-term capital planning and cost-reduction initiatives.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

  • At least 3 years of proven effective experience as a facilities manager.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Understanding of local safety regulations, emergency preparedness, and compliance requirements.

  • Financial acumen and analytical capability.
