Job Description Summary

This Role is part of PDS-Investors Team, and selected candidates will be working on project management consultancy or construction management projects managed by Cushman & Wakefield.

About the Role:

The Senior Project Engineer Instrumentation Engineer (PMC) is responsible for overseeing all instrumentation and control (I&C) aspects of the project, from design review through execution, testing, and commissioning. The role ensures that control systems, field instruments, and automation are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve instrumentation and control system designs, drawings, and specifications (DCS/PLC/SCADA, field instruments, control panels).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Monitor and supervise installation of instrumentation systems, cabling, and control panels at site.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to ensure proper integration of systems.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors for technical discussions and approvals.
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for instrumentation works.
  • Track project progress, review schedules, and ensure timely completion of I&C activities.
  • Review BOQs, validate contractor RA bills, and manage variations/change orders.
  • Oversee loop checking, calibration, testing, and commissioning of all instruments and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, hazardous area requirements, and statutory regulations.

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA)
  • Expertise in field instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, analyzers)
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (ISA, IEC, IS, NFPA where applicable)
  • Proficiency in engineering tools and MS Office
