Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the overall operations, maintenance, and service delivery of a large and complex built environment portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing service partners and contractors, overseeing maintenance programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing stakeholder satisfaction. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, community partners, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure assets are maintained to the highest standards while delivering a safe, efficient, and customer-centric environment.

About the Job:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and asset management activities across the assigned portfolio.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and service improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Manage outsourced contractors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring contractual obligations, KPIs, and service levels are consistently achieved.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost management, including procurement and contract administration activities.
- Drive preventive maintenance programmes, asset enhancement initiatives, and sustainability efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), and environmental requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, regulatory bodies, and service users.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary operations team to achieve business objectives and operational excellence.
- Investigate operational incidents, resolve escalated issues, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare management reports, operational reviews, and performance updates for leadership and stakeholders.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Building, Real Estate, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in operations, property, facilities, or estate management.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, contract management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.
