Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist
Job Description Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a collections-focused role within property management. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with active communication, regular follow-up, and administrative work, and who can help us manage outstanding receivables, resolve payment issues, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
What will you do?
Follow up on overdue receivables through phone calls, emails, reminders, and pay-ment notices
Communicate with tenants and other debtors to secure payments and support re-solution of outstanding balances
Monitor aging reports, payment status, and collection progress
Record collection activities, payment commitments, and account updates accura-tely and on time
Investigate and help resolve billing discrepancies and payment-related issues with internal teams
Prepare regular reports on receivables and collection status
Cooperate with property management, finance, accounting, and external partners, including legal or collection agencies when needed
Cooperate with accoutnant and mainain debtors related data in accounting soft-ware.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit control, accounting, or a similar role
Strong communication skills and confidence in handling follow-up and negotiation with debtors
Attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow up consistently
Good knowledge of MS Excel and standard administrative tools
Slovak/Czech on a native level, English at a communicative level
Experience in real estate or property management is an advantage
