Job Description Summary

QA/QC Mechanical will be responsible to ensure the flawless execution, installation, and performance of all mechanical and precision cooling systems across the data center construction site. This role focuses on implementing rigorous quality assurance frameworks to guarantee that critical mission-critical infrastructure—such as heavy HVAC networks, chilled water systems, and fire suppression setups—strictly complies with international engineering standards, client specifications, and zero-downtime operational requirements.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • On-Site Inspections & Testing: Lead daily site inspections for all mechanical systems, including HVAC, chilled water piping, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, fire protection, and fuel oil systems, ensuring complete alignment with project specifications.
  • Quality Documentation Control: Review, approve, and manage critical quality records, including Method Statements, Requests for Inspection (RFI), material approval requests, and Test Reports to maintain audit readiness.
  • Equipment Verification (FAT/SAT): Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and lead on-site Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for critical mechanical machinery, ensuring zero defects before final commissioning.
  • Defect Tracking & Resolution: Identify mechanical quality deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and closely track the implementation of corrective and preventive actions by subcontractors.
  • Material & Subcontractor Compliance: Inspect incoming mechanical materials and equipment against approved datasheets and technical submittals, ensuring subcontractors adhere strictly to international standards

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years in data centre or other mission‑critical facilities.
