Job Title: Procurement Engineer – Construction (Warehouse Projects)
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office)
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
About the Role
- Manage procurement for warehouse construction projects (civil, structural, MEP, finishing)
- Prepare procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, and conduct techno-commercial comparisons
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best price, quality, and delivery terms
- Develop and manage vendor database and performance tracking
- Coordinate with project and site teams for material requirements and schedules
- Ensure timely purchase order placement and delivery follow-ups
- Monitor project costs, consumption, and budget variances
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contract terms
About You:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in construction procurement
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and market rates
- Experience in warehouse/industrial construction procurement preferred
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Understanding of BOQ, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong analytical and cost control skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
