Job Description Summary
Placemaking NSW is seeking an experienced Heritage Manager to support the protection, management and integration of heritage assets across a diverse portfolio of public precincts. Working closely with Asset Management, Facilities Management, Projects and Operations teams, you will provide specialist heritage advice across maintenance, capital works, operational activities and asset planning to ensure compliance with heritage legislation and conservation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Provide heritage advice across projects, operations and asset management activities.
Ensure compliance with heritage legislation, approvals and conservation requirements.
Support heritage integration into maintenance programs and capital works delivery.
Coordinate heritage approvals, consultants and stakeholder engagement.
Maintain accurate heritage records, documentation and governance reporting.
About You
Experience in heritage management, conservation planning or advisory roles.
Strong understanding of heritage legislation and approval processes.
Experience working in complex property, infrastructure or public-facing environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Heritage Management, Architecture, Planning or related discipline preferred.
