Responsible for leading fire and safety operations across multiple sites, ensuring strategic compliance with regulatory standards and organizational risk management goals.
Job Description
- Develop and implement fire safety and occupational health policies across all facilities.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure readiness of fire protection systems.
- Lead emergency response planning, fire drills, and evacuation exercises.
- Liaise with government bodies, fire departments, and external safety consultants for inspections and certifications.
- Monitor compliance with statutory safety regulations and internal standards.
- Investigate fire and safety incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation for audits, licenses, and legal reporting.
- Guide infrastructure upgrades and safety improvements in coordination with project teams.
Key selection criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in fire and safety management, preferably in large-scale operations.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency planning.
- Excellent leadership, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, Fire Safety Officer, or equivalent preferred.
