Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Commercial Building / Office Complex

Department: Security / Property Management

🧾 Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within the commercial building. This includes monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

🔐 Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vendors
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas
  • Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems
  • Identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches
  • Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or threats
  • Enforce building rules, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain daily logs, IN and OUT registers and prepare incident reports
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
  • Assist visitors by providing directions and basic information
  • Check bags, vehicles, or packages when necessary

  • Strong observation and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
  • Physical fitness and alertness

🎓 Qualifications

  • Graduation / Retired defence personals (preferred)
  • Security training certification (preferred)
