🔍 What You’ll Do
As a VAT Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing and supporting VAT processes across the UK and EMEA region, working closely with internal finance teams, external advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee timely submission of VAT returns in collaboration with external consultants and internal finance teams
Review and test VAT filings for the UK and EMEA, identify discrepancies, and implement corrections
Maintain VAT registration data and ensure accuracy across systems
Manage VAT codes in platforms such as Workday and Yardi, test changes, and communicate updates to business units
Approve VAT refunds and payments, ensuring correct entity allocation
Assist with VAT audits and tax authority inquiries
Perform VAT reconciliations and summary reports
Collaborate with finance technology and transformation teams to enhance VAT processes
🎯 What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years of relevant experience in VAT or indirect tax
Fluent English communication skills
Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables)
UK VAT experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory
University degree required; finance/accounting background preferred
Experience with OneSource, Workday, or Yardi is an advantage
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive approach
