As a Junior Valuer in the Retail Valuation team, you will support senior valuers in delivering high‑quality valuation and advisory services for retail assets across the Netherlands. You will work on shopping centers, high‑street retail, retail parks, supermarkets, and mixed‑use assets, contributing to financial modelling, market analysis, and client reporting. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop strong technical valuation skills and grow within a leading real estate advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing valuation reports for retail properties, portfolios, and redevelopment opportunities.

  • Conduct market research, including rental evidence, yield analysis, and retail performance trends.

  • Support financial modelling using valuation tools and internal databases.

  • Gather and verify property, lease, and market data from internal and external sources.

  • Contribute to client presentations, pitch materials, and advisory assignments.

  • Collaborate closely with senior valuers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of assignments.

  • Maintain and update transaction and market intelligence relevant to the Dutch retail sector.

  • Work cross‑functionally with Research, Capital Markets, and Agency teams when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Urban Studies, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical mindset with interest in retail property markets.

  • Familiarity with valuation methods such as DCF, income approach, and comparable analysis.

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with valuation software is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.

  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop toward becoming a Registered Valuer.
