CRE Graduate Program

Our 12-month graduate program is designed for final-year students (typically MBAs or post-graduate degrees). It includes over 76 learning hours, nearly 20 mentors from various service lines, and 40 students total. The program features a capstone project and focuses on developing essential skills like communication, business writing, personal branding, as well as leadership skills, data analysis, and real estate industry fundamentals.

Office Leasing

Our Leasing teams work with their clients to maximise asset awareness, leasing activity, rental rates, occupancy, and overall investment value— ultimately enhancing financial performance. Our team supports asset analysis, lease negotiation, property positioning and marketing, project and brokerage campaigns, prospective tenant canvassing, and market analysis reporting. We have experts working in all markets including CBD, City Fringe and Metro.

Retail Leasing

The Cushman & Wakefield retail leasing team offers a fully integrated retail service platform, creating opportunities for both brands and investors in retail property. This specialisation provides a comprehensive understanding of brand requirements. From location optimisation to operational efficiencies, speed to market, shifting customer expectations and creating competitive advantage, it also allows Cushman & Wakefield to construct deals quickly and smoothly.

Investment Sales

As market leading specialists in the sale of office investments across Australia, our Investment Sales teams offer comprehensive advisory and execution services to a broad range of institutional, offshore, and private clients. We focus on both CBD, Suburban, Middle Markets, Development Sites and Strata assets across all sectors. Tenant Advisory

Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Representation practice is a full-service real estate advisory that represents the tenant, or occupier, in the negotiation and execution of a lease, purchase, or disposition of commercial space. We provide solutions that align real estate transaction needs with a tenant’s business strategy, financial goals, and operational objectives.

Valuations & Advisory

Our team provides Valuation & Advisory services to owners, investors, financial institutions, funds, and developers across a range of property sectors and locations. Our approach to Valuations is based on developing a deep understanding of individual markets and specific asset types. We draw on our market knowledge, resources, technology, experience, and quality control—all aided by our strong bank panel representation and market reputation—to provide seamless service at a local, national, and global level.

Industrial & Logistics

The Industrial & Logistics Brokerage and Capital Markets team specialises in the delivery of strategic advice relating to the logistics, warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing sectors—assisting our clients in maximising the value of their industrial portfolios. Our team supports your investment portfolio and ownership cycle, surveying market opportunities and creating value via brokerage services to deliver divestment strategies and sale campaigns, leasing, and property management.

  4. Speaker Series: Attend talks by senior leaders, business leads who started as management trainees, and experienced leaders.
  5. Community Learning: Engage in group assignments for collaborative learning.

 

  1. Hands-On Experience: Spend a month rotating through two specific service lines to understand the business, roles, responsibilities, and workflow.
  2. Guidance and Support: Get paired with a buddy from each service line to help guide and support you.

 

  1. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Challenge yourself to think critically, solve complex problems, and show you're ready for work in your service line (e.g., market analysis, feasibility studies, process improvement initiatives).
  2. Progress Meetings: Have regular check-ins with project sponsors/owners and mentors to track your progress.
  3. Present Your Work: Share your project findings and recommendations with Business Heads.

  1. Specialized Guidance: Get assigned mentors and buddies within your chosen department to provide expert guidance.
  2. Monthly Check-Ins: Have regular monthly check-ins with PPs, EIC, and L&D Teams to monitor your progress and address any concerns.
