Job Description Summary
The People Partner is a trusted advisor to business leaders, managers and employees, partnering with designated business units to deliver people strategies that support business performance, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness. Working closely with the Head of People Partnering, Centres of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Reward and People Services teams, the People Partner provides strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle. The role acts as the primary People Team contact for assigned client groups and ensures that people practices are aligned with company strategy, local legislation and Cushman & Wakefield values.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders and management teams within assigned business areas.
- Translate business objectives into practical people plans and workforce initiatives.
- Provide guidance on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and talent strategies.
- Use people data, insights and analytics to identify trends and support business decision making.
- Support business transformation, restructuring and change initiatives
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, performance concerns, absence management and workplace conflicts. Provide commercially sound, legally compliant recommendations.
- Support leaders with talent reviews, succession planning and retention strategies.
- Coach managers on performance management, feedback and employee development.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring plans and workforce growth.
- Advise on career development and internal mobility opportunities.
- Provide practical coaching and guidance to managers on people-related matters.
- Support leaders in building high-performing and engaged teams.
- Promote consistent application of company policies, values and leadership behaviours.
- Support organisation design projects, restructures, acquisitions and integration activities.
- Participate in local and regional People initiatives.
- Drive adoption of People programmes, processes and technology solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of People Team practices and employee experience.
- Partnership with all areas of the COE model to deliver defined People strategies and business excellence.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law or related discipline.
- Significant HR Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Generalist experience.
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
- Experience managing organisational change and transformation activities.
- Experience in a multinational matrix organisation.
- Experience working in a COE model.
- Fluent Dutch and English.
Preferred
- Experience in a multinational matrix organisation.
- Real estate, professional services or consulting industry experience.
- Experience supporting commercial or fee-earning populations.
- Strong workforce analytics and HR technology capability.
