Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and operational according to design specifications.
Develop and execute the commissioning plan, including test scripts, performance metrics, and compliance with industry standards
Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project handover and system integration.
Conduct site inspections and witness testing for critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, and security systems.
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Work closely with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and align with project timelines.
Maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and punch lists.
Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing phases, providing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
Manage the commissioning schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met efficiently.
Support post-commissioning activities, including performance monitoring, fine-tuning, and handover to operations teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in commissioning management, with at least 2 years in data center projects.
Strong understanding of mission-critical systems, including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire suppression.
Familiarity with local regulatory codes.
Experience using commissioning software and tools
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in a data center environment.
