Job Description Summary

The Facilities Coordination Intern will support the Facilities Management team with day-to-day workplace operations and administrative activities. This role provides exposure to facilities management, vendor coordination, employee support, and workplace services while assisting with maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking and responding to facility-related requests and service tickets.
  • Support coordination of maintenance, repairs, and workplace service activities.
  • Help maintain facilities records, reports, and vendor documentation.
  • Assist with workplace inspections and audits to identify operational needs.
  • Coordinate logistics for office moves, meetings, and employee workspace requests.
  • Communicate with employees, vendors, and building management regarding facility matters.
  • Support inventory management of office and facility supplies.
  • Assist with special projects related to workplace experience, safety, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Interest in workplace operations, facilities management, or corporate real estate.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $21.25 - $25.00
