As our Auckland portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive service excellence, and support the delivery of technical services across a diverse property portfolio.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Reporting to the National Technical Services Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of a portfolio of key client accounts.
You'll act as a trusted link between our clients and operational teams, ensuring contractual obligations, KPIs and service expectations are consistently met. You'll work closely with technical teams, trades, our call centre, invoicing teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, maintain performance and deliver a high level of client service.
One of the key aspects of this role is managing strong, high-touch client relationships. You'll need to be confident communicating regularly with clients, providing clear updates, managing expectations and taking ownership when challenges arise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client relationships and service delivery across a portfolio of facilities services accounts
- Monitoring account performance, including revenue, margin, invoicing, WIP, and aged debt
- Coordinating the onboarding of new accounts, assets, and maintenance programmes
- Delivering client reporting, account reviews, and performance insights
- Working closely with operational teams to resolve issues and drive service excellence
- Identifying opportunities for account growth, retention, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring contractual obligations and KPIs are consistently achieved
About You | Mōu
We're looking for someone who combines technical understanding with strong commercial and relationship management skills.
You'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in a technical services or trade environment, such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Services or a similar field
- 2–3 years' experience managing service-based accounts, including financial or P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of technical service delivery, with HVAC or plumbing experience highly desirable
- Project management or previous team leadership experience would be an advantage
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Proven experience building and managing client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to provide regular client updates and manage expectations
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and asset or facilities management systems
