Our Operations Internship is designed to offer a thorough experience that equips interns with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers within real estate. Over the course of 8 - 10 weeks, interns will gain real-world, hands-on experience in the industry by handling important assignments, problem solving, and taking ownership of their work. As part of the internship experience, interns will participate in our Virtual Global Speaker Series, which offers insights into the commercial real estate industry and professional development topics. These sessions also provide a deeper understanding of our company culture and values. Job Description

As an Operations Intern at C&W, you will:

  • Assist department leaders, including the Procurement Manager, Liabilities Claims Specialist Manager, and the Transitions team, by providing essential support across various functions

  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible

  • Prepare and organize documentation for operational activities and assist in generating reports for management review

  • Make recommendations and implement solutions for department processes

  • Assist in completing other tasks within the department when additional resources are needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) to support daily tasks and presentations.

  • SharePoint or Office 365 experience is preferred.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, being able to manage multiple tasks while staying focused and efficient.

  • Team player with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently and contributing to group efforts.

  • Permanent US work authorization required.

  • We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.

Physical Requirements:

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours

  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type

  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you

  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays

  • Ability to observe details at close range

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $17.85 - $21.00
