Role Summary

This position will support the People Analytics & Reporting team with a focus on Workday reporting delivery, stakeholder support, data quality, and operational continuity. The role will partner with a centralized global team of people analytics and reporting to develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions that support People business priorities, workforce insights, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Report into the People Analytics & Reporting function and collaborate with a global team of Workday reporting analysts to deliver accurate, timely, and scalable reporting solutions.

• Own day-to-day Workday reporting responsibilities, including report maintenance, enhancement requests, troubleshooting, and stakeholder follow-up.

• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday reports, including custom reports, advanced reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify reporting needs, and translate requests into effective reporting solutions.

• Support workforce management, data quality, compliance, and operational reporting needs across geographies and functional areas.

• Maintain and improve existing reports, documentation, report inventories, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and long-term sustainability.

• Provide end-user support, training, and guidance related to Workday reporting outputs, report usage, and reporting processes.

• Develop a strong understanding of Workday data structures, business processes, and reporting dependencies to improve data accuracy and usability.

• Analyze complex business questions and data challenges to produce focused insights, identify trends, and support decision-making.

• Prioritize a mix of transactional requests, production support, and project-based work in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain confidentiality and appropriately protect employee personal data in accordance with internal policies and data governance standards.

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, provide status updates, manage expectations, and escalate risks or blockers when needed.

• Support a metrics-driven culture by helping produce, maintain, and distribute reports and analytics that support the People function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR, HR systems, people analytics, reporting, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM reporting capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of Workday reporting, including advanced reporting, matrix reporting, calculated fields, and related reporting functionality.

• Experience designing and developing business-facing and internal reports with a focus on usability, accuracy, and stakeholder needs.

• Knowledge of multiple Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Security, and Reporting.

• Experience developing and managing calculated, derived, and nested fields.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work with limited oversight.

• Customer-service mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to document processes clearly and support knowledge transfer across the team.

• Workday Pro Reporting certification or prior Workday reporting training preferred.

Additional Technical Exposure

• Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics, including data preparation, transformation, or reporting use cases.

• Experience with Workday Worksheets or similar self-service reporting and analysis capabilities.

• Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, data movement, or data transformation processes.

• Exposure to Fivetran or similar data integration and pipeline automation tools.
