Job Description Summary
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical team, delivering reactive, planned, and project maintenance services across New Zealand. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will be responsible for completing electrical maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time. You will also identify opportunities for additional work, maintain strong customer relationships, and contribute to the team's performance objectives. This role is ideal for a trade-qualified electrician with commercial maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Job Description
The Electrical team delivers reactive, project-based, and planned maintenance services across New Zealand, supporting Cushman & Wakefield's national and regional client base.
Key Responsibilities
Complete electrical maintenance and service tasks as required.
Identify opportunities for additional work and escalate them to the client and/or manager.
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner to support client invoicing.
Adhere to all HSSEQ policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Undertake other duties as reasonably required by your manager.
Key Performance Measures
All work completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
Achievement of log-on and log-off KPI requirements.
Accurate completion and submission of work records within required timeframes for invoicing.
Identification and escalation of future work opportunities.
High levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
Qualified Electrical Tradesperson.
Commercial maintenance experience is preferred.
Experience working in a maintenance environment.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, webmail, and the use of smartphones and tablets.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Electrical Trade Certificate.
Current Electrical Licence.
Commercial maintenance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, webmail, and mobile technology.
Personal Attributes
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
