Position: Facilities Manager
Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of the client's facilities. This includes managing maintenance services, contractors, budgets, compliance, and customer satisfaction while meeting contractual KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the assigned facility or portfolio.
- Lead and supervise facilities executives, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed according to schedule.
- Manage service providers and contractors to ensure quality work, safety, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and timely issue resolution.
- Prepare monthly reports, KPIs, budgets, and management presentations.
- Monitor operating expenditure (OPEX) and support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Fire Safety, Environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct facility inspections and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Manage emergency responses, business continuity, and incident investigations.
- Oversee procurement activities including quotations, purchase orders, and contract administration.
- Ensure documentation such as SOPs, risk assessments, method statements, permits, and maintenance records are up to date.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, energy efficiency programs, and sustainability efforts.
- Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
- Plan manpower deployment and staff development.
