Barangaroo, Sydney NSW

Join Cushman & Wakefield and help maintain one of Sydney's most iconic waterfront precincts.

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our team supporting the Barangaroo Precinct. This is a hands-on role where you'll be based on-site, maintaining and repairing public spaces, buildings, amenities and infrastructure throughout the Barangaroo foreshore and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Based primarily at Barangaroo, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair activities across the precinct, including:

  • General carpentry and handyman works

  • Building and facilities maintenance

  • Repairs to doors, locks, fixtures and fittings

  • Painting, patching and minor building works

  • Inspection and rectification of maintenance issues

  • Maintenance of public spaces and foreshore assets

  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests

  • Using mobile technology to manage work orders and reporting

  • Working safely and maintaining high standards of presentation across the site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated carpentry or handyman experience

  • Experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance or construction

  • Current driver's licence

  • Forklift licence

  • Boat licence

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Good computer and mobile technology skills

  • A proactive approach to Health & Safety

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Check

  • Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing

  • Full Australian working rights
