We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong trade background to join our Facilities Services team in Auckland. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end pricing, quoting, and delivery of minor works and projects across commercial environments.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong trade background to join our Facilities Services team in Auckland. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end pricing, quoting, and delivery of minor works and projects across commercial environments.

This role suits a qualified electrician who has moved into estimating and project delivery, and who enjoys combining technical knowledge with commercial decision‑making. You’ll prepare accurate quotes, oversee project execution, and ensure reconciliation and reporting are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate electrical estimates for minor works and projects, ensuring competitive and commercially sound pricing.

  • Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including scoping, quoting, scheduling, and close‑out documentation.

  • Oversee job execution to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

  • Complete reconciliations and reporting for all assigned works.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable service.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Electrical Manager, technicians, and commercial stakeholders.

  • Ensure all work meets EHS requirements, safety standards, and compliance obligations.

About You

  • Trade‑qualified Electrician; current registration highly advantageous.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial electrical maintenance.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in estimating and/or project management.

  • Strong written communication skills, especially in preparing estimates.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
