Role summary

To act as a trusted HR Business Partner for the Manila business, with a strong focus on partnering sales and revenue-generating teams. The role will support business leaders in building talent, improving manager effectiveness, strengthening employee engagement, enabling performance and productivity, and ensuring consistent execution of HR programs across the Philippines. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on HRBP experience in a sales-led environment, preferably from real estate, retail, consulting, professional services, or other client-facing sectors.

About the role

Business Partnering and Advisory:

  • Partner with Manila leaders, especially sales teams, on business priorities, people risks, talent needs and productivity opportunities.

  • Advise on organization design, workforce planning and people implications of business decisions.

  • Use people data and business context to identify trends and recommend timely interventions.

Talent, Performance and Engagement:

  • Drive performance cycles, talent reviews, succession discussions and development actions.

  • Strengthen engagement, team effectiveness and retention of key talent.

  • Address capability gaps in sales and client-facing teams through relevant learning or development interventions.

Employee Relations, Compliance and HR Operations:

  • Manage employee relations matters fairly and confidentially, aligned to policy and local employment requirements.

  • Handle key employee lifecycle matters including onboarding, probation, internal movements, exits and documentation.

  • Support grievances, investigations, disciplinary matters and performance-related documentation.

  • Partner on compensation cycles, sales incentive awareness, rewards queries and performance-linked pay governance.

Change, Communication and Projects:

  • Support communication and change management for HR programs, policy updates and regional initiatives.

  • Ensure timely, accurate people data and report submissions for regional/global HR or business projects.

  • Maintain trackers, dashboards and follow-through to support governance and audit readiness.

​Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong hands-on HR Business Partner experience supporting sales, commercial or revenue-generating teams.

  • Preferred sector experience in real estate, retail, consulting, professional services or other client-facing, sales-led environments.

  • Strong understanding of core HR processes including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, talent reviews and engagement.

  • Working knowledge of Philippines employment law, local labor practices and statutory HR compliance requirements.

  • Experience working in a matrix, regional or multinational environment, with the ability to partner effectively with local leaders and regional COEs.

  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking and judgement; able to operate independently, manage ambiguity and handle confidential matters with discretion.

  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with local Philippines teams and regional/global stakeholders.

  • Commercial mindset with strong understanding of sales-team dynamics

  • Data-backed thinking, structured problem solving and follow-through

  • Stakeholder credibility and high ownership
