Reports to: Facility Manager

SCOPE OF ROLE

The cleaning Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the delivery, quality and efficiency of both reactive and planned cleaning services to non prisoner areas at the new Waikeria Prison facility. Cleaning Supervisor will manage the cleaning schedule and assign the team duties, ensuring the delivery of tasks within contracted time frames and in accordance with Cushman & Wakefield HSSE, Q&A practices, Site-Specific Operative Document procedures and regulatory requirements. The focus will be on the delivery of a proactive cleaning service designed to minimise disruption to the prison service and deliver and clean and safe work place for corrections staff

JOB PURPOSE

To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service to Cushman & Wakefield clients through the effective maintenance of Prison facilities within contracted KPI time frames.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Review the cleaning plan and assign activities in co-ordination with the site supervisor and Senior Facility Manger.
  • Carry out cleaning activities as assigned and in line with cleaning plan.
  • Manage stock levels for consumables and re-stock cleaning cupboards site wide.
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate to supervisor or manager.
  • Complete all site-specific documentation on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to HSSE Q & A policies, site operational procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Any other duties according to competency and certification, as required.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of one year experience in managing people
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Waikeria Prison facility (preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Minimum of two years’ work experience
  • Driver’s licence (Required)
  • Computer skills – word, excel, webmail and use of Smartphones/tablets.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Good English spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet operational deadlines.
  • Customer focused with the ability to comply with Waikeria Site requirements.
  • Self Motivated with good time management and willingness to learn new skills.
