Job Description Summary

The Engineering Manager will develop, implement and track facilities asset management, reliability and maintenance engineering programs at client sites. Utilizing plant engineering/ facilities engineering best practices and internally developed processes, this position will achieve the objectives of improved building systems and campus infrastructure asset reliability. Goals are to reduce downtime and achieve key performance targets, while interacting continuously with all members of engineering and facilities management teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Place safety of employees, building operators and building users as a guiding principle. Initiate and monitor progress for all safety training programs.
  • Provide critical operations leadership, support and technical oversight for all client’s regional office sites that are assigned. Ensure that facilities are operated and maintained cost effectively, safely, efficiently and in first-class condition. Ensure proper engineering procedures and standards are being practiced and upheld
  • Use and monitor numerous facilities tracking programs such as but not limited to CMMS (Corrigo), regulatory schedules, incident management programs, training matrix, etc.
  • Field emergency calls in the event of incidents related to the critical infrastructure, provide oversight and assistance on how best to remediate such incidents, and seeing all remediation efforts through to completion
  • Assist site teams with root cause analysis investigations and evaluation. Manage team training (safety and technical) and track progress.
  • Participate in facilities inspections and conditions assessments, asset data validation within CMMS including schedule and task planning
  • Assist site teams with standardized operating procedures and evaluation of method of procedures for various maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Provide engineering oversight to the Real Estate Project Team at locations that are undergoing new build outs or being renovated. This includes reviewing Architectural and MEP plans for adding or upgrading new equipment, infrastructure, building improvements, and the like, interface with applicable building management and operational staffs, provide technical guidance and leadership, interact with contracted labor and vendors

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 161,500.00 - $190,000.00
