Region: North EDUCATION:
• Diploma or Engineering degree.
• PDIS/ADIS in government affiliated collage/ university. Preferred Safety certification
• NEBOSH IGC
• OHSAS 30 Hrs
• IOSH Managing safely.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ experience in managing an EHS on site
Role & responsibilities:
•
Conduct regular HSE audits on various contractors to verify compliance and best practices.
•
Conduct risk assessments for all site activities and mitigate potential hazards.
•
Test and inspect tools & tackles, such as chain pulleys, wire ropes, slings, hooks, shackles, winches, cranes, lifts, hoists, etc., maintaining compliance records.
•
Review and prepare EHS Plans and Emergency Plans, site logistics plan.
•
Ensure accurate record keeping and data collection for injury and accident reporting.
•
Conduct weekly Accident Review meetings and quarterly safety events.
•
Develop and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
•
Maintain and update the Hazard Communication Plan for each job site.
•
Provide specialized HSE training on road safety, fire safety, height safety, crane safety, excavation safety, and electrical safety to ensure safe trenching and ducting at construction sites.
•
Conduct EHS inductions for all new employees, contractors, and vendors.
•
Conduct daily TBT at site.
•
Regularly test and maintain portable fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, and emergency response systems.
•
Preparation of daily, weekly and Monthly EHS report.
