About the Opportunity
As the Facility Manager, you will be the key operational lead for all FM activities on site — overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe and efficient hospital environment.
You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, provide technical and strategic advice, and lead a team of FM and trade professionals to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing day‑to‑day FM operations including planned maintenance, reactive works and soft services coordination
Leading contractor performance, scheduling, supervision and quality assurance
Ensuring WHS compliance, inductions, risk assessments and safe work practices
Monitoring performance, work orders, compliance tasks and reporting
Preparing monthly performance reports, maintenance summaries and defect logs
Managing site‑level budgets, invoices, variations and procurement
Coordinating shutdowns, inspections and business continuity planning
Building strong relationships with hospital leaders and clinical teams
Supporting a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar FM role
Experience in complex environments — hospital or clinical facilities highly regarded
Strong understanding of building services, infrastructure and maintenance delivery
Proven contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage risk, compliance and operational performance
Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving capability
Trade or engineering qualifications (electrical/mechanical) highly regarded
