Job Description Summary

Vendor Associate (“Associate”) serves as the primary internal owner and advocate for the engagement. This role is responsible for ensuring strong alignment between CVS Real Estate leadership, cross‑functional stakeholders, and the Vendor team throughout the engagement. As a core member of the Operating Committee, the Associate represents CVS interests, coordinates internal resources, and ensures timely access to data, stakeholders, and feedback required to successfully deliver current‑state insights, future‑state frameworks, and applied portfolio recommendations. Other responsibilities may include managing additional directives as given by CVS and Vice President-Real Estate or designee.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary CVS point of accountability for the Retail engagement across all three workstreams (Current State, Future State, and Apply the New Framework).
  • Serve as a key member of the Operating Committee, partnering with and coordinating Vendor, the independent Associate, Strategy & Analytics, Finance, IT, and Real Estate leadership.
  • Escalate issues, risks, or decision needs to the Executive Committee as appropriate to maintain project pace and alignment.
  • Help prioritize key questions, hypotheses, and decision points to focus analysis on the highest‑value outcomes for the enterprise.
  • Validate that recommendations are practical, actionable, and usable within existing CVS processes, tools, and governance models.
  • Ensure timely delivery of baseline materials, performance data, KPIs, and reporting access required for analysis.
  • Actively participate in weekly project updates, providing feedback, context, and directional guidance.
  • Help resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, or organizational constraints that could impact timelines or quality of deliverables.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders understand interim findings, emerging themes, and implications as work progresses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate strategy or similar, preferably for a regional/national retailer or service provider, with broad knowledge of market characteristics and dynamics
  • Flexible schedule based on workload, with the ability to work minimal hours to full-time
  • 8+ Proficiency in all MS Office tools, advanced Excel, Word Access and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication and data presentation skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts / solutions to business partners with visualizations and slides
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience implementing new systems
  • Experience with managing large scale projects, leading multiple workstreams and working with multiple business stakeholders in a matrixed environment to influence decision-making
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience working with large data sources and proficiency in latest tools and platforms
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience with planning and executing detail test plans and strategies

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 102,000.00 - $120,000.00
