Job Description Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Aberdeen Mall is looking for a part time/permanent Guest Services Representative (GSR) to join the Guest Services team as the primary point of contact for both internal staff & external customers and is focused on providing best in class customer service. Applicants must have a minimum of one year customer service experience. Must be available to work all mall hours, including weekends, evenings, and Stat holidays (minimum of two scheduled shifts weekly). The position is multi-functional across a broad spectrum of guest service responsibilities including: • Front-line service answering inquiries in person and via telephone & email • Gift card sales and promotion • Transit Product sales • Operating the paging system • Controlling the borrowing of mobility aids • Other daily duties as assigned by the Guest Services Supervisor • Must be able to provide clear criminal record check KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: • Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of people, work under pressure and to multi-task • An outgoing, engaging personality who enjoys meeting and working with people • Ability to provide concierge-level services to guests and potential guests by exceeding their expectations at all times: The "WOW" factor • The ability to think on ones feet and provide solutions to real time questions and issues • Able to take direction and react quickly to changing priorities • Keen observation skills and awareness of surroundings are important • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Social Media • Confident in assisting with emergency situations Interested candidates are asked to submit their resume to: Diana Kar Guest Services Supervisor 275-1320 Trans-Canada Highway West Kamloops, BC V1S 1J2 [email protected] We thank all interested parties, however only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $17.85 - $18.25 CAD Hourly
