A Facilities Maintenance Technical Officer in an Army Camp is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of all camp facilities and infrastructure. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced military environment.

About the Role:
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance of buildings, utilities, and other camp facilities, ensuring they are functional, safe, and compliant with military standards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for key infrastructure (e.g., water systems, electrical, HVAC), reducing downtime and enhancing facility longevity.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Manage the repair and troubleshooting of facilities-related issues, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Coordination and Reporting: Collaborate with senior officers, contractors, and team members to plan and execute maintenance activities, and report on the status of facilities and upcoming needs.
- Emergency Maintenance: Respond to emergencies related to facilities (e.g., power outages, flooding, structural issues), minimizing impact on operations and ensuring swift resolutions.
About You:
- Diploma in Facilities Management / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent.
- 2 years relevant Facilities Operation experience in a FM service provider / factories / owner.
- FSM / ECO / other FM and Safety related certificates will have added advantage.
