About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Facilities Coordinator to join our team supporting one of Australia's most recognised organisations.

Based onsite at BHP's landmark Perth office, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of a world-class facility spanning 25 floors.

This is a highly visible role combining contractor management, facilities operations, safety compliance, financial administration and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you'll help ensure the workplace operates efficiently, safely and to the exceptionally high standards expected by both BHP and Cushman & Wakefield.

This role requires attendance on-site Monday to Friday and includes some after-hours and 24-hour on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Senior Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Facilities function within the site operations including management of the Facilities Coordinator on-site
  • Provides technical Facilities Management support & experience, and has the practical skills and training for the relevant assets
  • Responsible for supporting the key performance indicators for the BHP contract
  • Participate as required in monthly meetings with the landlord
  • Monitor, action and maintain work orders in Famis360
  • Implement and monitor routine tasks (reactive works) and ensure timely completion of all activities including escalations
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance activities to ensure timely completion as well as amendment / update of annual schedules as required
  • Respond, action, and follow through all client requests
  • Provide input and seek support from Asset Management, Health & Safety, Security and Environment teams for compliance with Australian standard requirements
  • Assist with contractual reporting
  • Participate and contribute in client governance meetings
  • Conduct supplier performance meetings & benchmark service level agreements
  • Conduct employee performance reviews & performance discussions as required
  • Deliver Safety training within the contract as required

About You

  • Experience in a similar facility coordination/workplace services role ina a corporate environment
  • Experience in meeting client needs within agreed timelines
  • Comfortable using facilities management systems, Excel and multiple technology platforms
  • Effective communicator and able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong safety and compliance mindset
  • Happy to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) on-site and participate in a 24 hour on-call weekly roster.
