Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Manager (Taiwan PM Team Lead) will oversee project delivery across Standard Chartered Bank’s Taiwan portfolio, with a primary focus on capital planning, branch planning, and project delivery. This role serves as the key liaison with internal SCB clients / stakeholders in Taiwan, regional stakeholders across Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES). The PM Team Lead will ensure projects are aligned with SCB’s strategic objectives, executed to the highest standards, and delivered on time and within budget.

Essential Responsibilities

• Capital & Branch Planning

o Lead annual and multi-year capital planning processes for SCB Taiwan, ensuring alignment with regional CRES strategies.

o Oversee branch network planning, including new branch development, relocations, consolidations, and refurbishments.

o Deliver branch projects that meet SCB’s operational, branding, and compliance requirements.

• Project Delivery

o Manage overall project costs, schedules, risks, and scope execution.

o Develop project charters, execution plans, budgets, schedules and ensure compliance with SCB governance and reporting requirements.

o Lead and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain master budgets and timelines.

o Lead / Conduct site due diligence when required for new sites.

• Stakeholder Engagement

o Act as the primary point of contact for SCB internal clients, WRB Taiwan, and regional CRES stakeholders.

o Prepare and coordinate project reports and reviews at all phases (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction).

o Represent CRES in WRB discussions for branch development projects, e.g. high level cost estimates and schedules Support business development initiatives and represent Cushman & Wakefield in client presentations.

• Team Management

o Supervise and mentor a team of Project Managers in Taiwan.

o Delegate responsibilities, review performance, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

o Provide training, motivation, and discipline as needed to meet established goals.

• Operational Excellence

o Oversee consultant and contractor selection, contracting, and performance management.

o Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices; advise SCB stakeholders on financial impacts.

o Ensure all project details are updated on a timely manner onto Autodesk Forma.

o Ensure all project details are reflective of actual site conditions

o Ensure compliance with SCB policies, Cushman & Wakefield standards, and local regulations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering/construction project management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Proven track record in capital planning, branch planning, and project delivery.

• Experience in the construction industry with strong knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and fit-out concepts.

• Advanced project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders across local and regional levels.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus.

• B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field required.

• This role requires close collaboration with SCB’s WRB Taiwan team and regional CRES stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local needs.
