Job Description Summary

The EHS Officer supports Cushman & Wakefield’s construction projects by implementing and enforcing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards to ensure safe work sites and regulatory compliance. She/he monitors construction activities, conducts site inspections and risk assessments, and ensures adherence to local regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies. The role involves coordinating with contractors, project managers, and site teams to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, lead safety orientations and toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and maintain accurate safety documentation and reports. The EHS Officer plays a key role in promoting a proactive safety culture while supporting project delivery goals in a fast‑paced construction environment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure construction safety compliance
  • Enforce EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices across construction sites
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors on safety implementation
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness activities
  • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Nursing, or related field
  • Proven experience in EHS or safety roles within construction or property management
  • Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and occupational health standards
  • Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and safety training effectively
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments
