Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Analyst to support a major national client within the healthcare sector. This role sits within our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division and partners closely with the Senior Finance Manager, operational leaders, and a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering commercial insights, financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis across a large and diverse property and facilities portfolio.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Reporting & Financial Operations
Prepare and deliver month‑end results, including recoveries, accruals, prepayments, and variance commentary.
Manage day‑to‑day financial operations across the portfolio (payments, invoicing, claims, reconciliations).
Support performance monitoring to ensure financial KPIs are achieved.
Translate complex data into meaningful insights for executive and operational stakeholders.
Identify, track, and support delivery of financial and operational initiatives.
Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged items.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecasts.
Assist in defining key assumptions and aligning outputs with client and internal expectations.
Build bottom‑up cost models for each property, including rent, outgoings, utilities, FM costs, and escalations.
Identify risks and opportunities across the portfolio.
Prepare and deliver analytical reviews and presentations to business streams.
Risk, Controls & Compliance
Support finance‑related controls, including SOX compliance.
Liaise with internal teams and external auditors as required.
Contract & Commercial Support
Assist the Senior Finance Manager and Account Director with financial management of the client contract, including profitability, monthly reviews, and annual operating plans.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Review systems and processes to enhance efficiency and workplace experience.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Partner with operational and service delivery teams across the healthcare portfolio.
Provide high‑quality financial support and insights to internal and client stakeholders.
Build strong relationships, proactively address issues, and support seamless service delivery.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Working knowledge of AASB16 Lease Accounting (advantageous)
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Qualified or Part‑Qualified Accountant (CPA/CA/CIMA/CFA preferred)
Strong IT capability including advanced Excel and PowerBI
Experience with Anaplan, JDE, or Blackline (advantageous)
Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and systems literacy
