Senior Finance Manager
Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to support our healthcare account within our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division. Based in Melbourne, this role partners closely with the Senior Account Director and Head of Finance, leading a small team and driving the financial performance, governance, and strategic planning of a major national client contract. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial stewardship, operational partnership, and delivering high‑quality insights that support both Cushman & Wakefield objectives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Reporting & Financial Governance
Deliver timely, accurate monthly financial reporting for healthcare and internal stakeholders.
Monitor performance against financial KPIs and contract requirements.
Lead monthly P&L reviews, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
Ensure high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of aged items.
Support operational teams to meet financial and non‑financial KPIs.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecasting.
Build and maintain financial models in Anaplan.
Define key assumptions and ensure alignment with client and internal expectations.
Identify risks and opportunities, providing clear insights and recommendations.
Drive analytical reviews, year‑on‑year analysis, and commentary.
Risk, Controls & Compliance
Own finance‑related controls for the client account, including SOX compliance.
Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Ensure adherence to Cushman & Wakefield governance frameworks.
Contract & Commercial Management
Manage the financial performance and profitability of the client contract.
Partner with the Senior Account Director on monthly reviews and annual operating plans.
Support commercial decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Lead and support ad hoc projects.
Review systems and processes to enhance efficiency and workplace experience.
Contribute to operational standards, playbooks, and process documentation.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with finance, operations, governance, and asset management stakeholders.
Provide high‑quality service delivery and operational support.
Identify cross‑selling opportunities and escalate blockers early.
Present financial insights to internal and client audiences.

Confidence managing ambiguity and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Excellent relationship‑building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Qualified Accountant (CPA/CA preferred).
Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills; Anaplan and Blackline advantageous.
Strong understanding of AASB16 Lease Accounting.
Experience with large ERP systems (JDE, SAP, Anaplan, or similar).
Strengths in financial acumen, planning, risk management, and data integrity.
