About the Role

  • Lead the design process along with the senior designers, for corporate interior projects, from concept development to project completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand identity, and design standards.
  • Work with senior designers and clients to understand their needs, goals, and functional requirements, translating them into compelling design solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and 3D visualizations that effectively communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
  • Lead the selection of furniture, fixtures, materials, finishes, and lighting to meet design goals, budget considerations, and project timelines.
  • Creating design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Oversee and guide junior designers in drawing documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Participate in client presentations, effectively conveying design concepts and incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including contractors, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts during the construction and installation phases.
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor project progress, ensure adherence to design intent, and address any design-related challenges that may arise.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices, infusing innovative ideas into project work.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and timelines, making informed decisions to balance design quality and project constraints.
  • Uphold knowledge of building codes, regulations, accessibility standards, and health and safety requirements in design execution.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and client pitches for new projects, showcasing the firm's capabilities and design expertise.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate interior design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience using AI tools is a bonus.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of completed corporate interior design projects that highlight your design approach, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with wellbeing in design principles and WELL certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality design standards.
  • Project management skills, scheduling, and risk assessment.
