Job Description Summary

Supports the Fire & Safety Manager in implementing fire safety protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance across facilities.

Job Description

  • Assist in planning and executing fire safety measures and emergency response plans.
  • Monitor fire detection and suppression systems for operational readiness.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, safety inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate fire drills, evacuation exercises, and staff training sessions.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, licenses, and statutory reporting.
  • Liaise with facility teams and external agencies for fire safety certifications.
  • Support investigations of fire-related incidents and prepare reports.
  • Ensure adherence to fire safety codes and company policies.

Key selection criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in fire safety or EHS roles.
  • Working knowledge of fire protection systems and emergency procedures.
  • Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, Fire Safety Officer, or equivalent preferred.
