Job Title

MDM Architect

Job Description Summary

Job Description

We are seeking an MDM Solution Architect to design and lead our enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platform from a business-first perspective. This role designs and delivers trusted master data for Property 360, Client 360, and Reference Data, and owns how that data is mastered, leveraging a hybrid of Profisee and Databricks technologies and embedding the use of AI to automate stewardship.

The Solution Architect reports to the Senior Director of Data Governance. Data Governance sets enterprise policy, standards, and ownership; the Solution Architect turns those decisions, and the needs of the business, into working MDM solutions. The role is the administrator of Profisee, provides technical direction to other team members, and partners with data stewards, business data owners, and downstream platform teams.

This is an excellent growth opportunity for a fast learner who starts with the business problem, thinks differently, delivers feasible solutions, and adopts new ways of working and new technologies, including AI. We are not looking for someone who simply applies industry-standard MDM playbooks, or whose experience is tied to a single technology or legacy approaches. We welcome architects from any modern MDM platform (for example Reltio, Stibo, Semarchy, or Ataccama) who understand the domain and can quickly master Profisee. Beyond master and reference data, the ideal candidate understands data quality, metadata, and data governance, and can contribute across our agile Data Governance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Value Delivery

• Understand what each business domain needs from Property, Client, and Reference data, and translate those needs into scalable MDM solutions

• Own the current-state to future-state MDM roadmap, prioritized by business value

• Serve as a trusted advisor on MDM strategy, domain onboarding, and platform evolution, communicating clearly to non-technical audiences

• Challenge conventional MDM approaches and bring practical ideas that turn master data into measurable business value

Architecture & Integration

• Define and own the MDM data architecture across Property 360, Client 360, and Reference Data, including how Profisee and the Databricks lakehouse fit together end to end

• Design and document data flows, integration patterns, and dependencies, including Salesforce, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and Databricks

• Establish modeling and domain design approaches that fit our business, using industry standards only where they add value

• Ensure master data is reliably consumed by analytics, operational, and reporting platforms, with agreed definitions and refresh expectations

Stewardship Enablement & Platform Operations

• Implement in Profisee the data quality rules, matching and survivorship logic, and stewardship workflows defined with business data owners and Data Governance

• Embed AI to automate stewardship, such as match suggestions, data quality remediation, and enrichment, so stewards focus on exceptions

• Build intuitive stewardship interfaces and support data profiling to assess readiness as new domains are onboarded

• Administer Profisee across development, test, and production; oversee CI/CD, performance, and troubleshooting

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MDM administrators, technical stewards, and developers

• Work in step with Data Governance and contribute to its agile strategy with expertise in data quality, metadata, and governance

• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and business teams to remove blockers

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise with Profisee, or hands-on experience with a modern enterprise MDM platform and the ability to quickly learn and master Profisee

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions across multiple domains, with strong command of matching, survivorship, and stewardship

• Working knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data governance

• Proficiency in analytics platforms such as Databricks, to support a hybrid approach to federated mastering globally

• Strong technical skills in SQL, data modeling, and data integration and pipelines

• Proven record of measurable impact in previous positions, and of bringing different ways of thinking that changed how problems were solved

• Proven ability to adapt across technologies, learning new platforms and tools quickly rather than relying on one product or a legacy way of working

• Awareness of the impact of AI on the technology industry, with a clear point of view on its implications for MDM

• Strong consultative and communication skills, bridging business and technical needs

• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring, and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure-based data architectures and lakehouse patterns

• Experience supporting Property, Client, or Reference data domains

• Profisee certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a mathematically focused science discipline

• Ability to work comfortably in US EST or CST time zones

What Success Looks Like

• The business trusts and uses master data for Property, Client, and Reference domains, and it delivers measurable business value

• Data quality, matching, and survivorship rules are transparent, documented, and scalable

• Stewardship is intuitive, increasingly AI-assisted, and actively used by the business

• Downstream systems, including the data lake, consistently consume accurate, governed master data

• MDM capabilities evolve in lockstep with business and platform needs, aligned with Data Governance
