Job Description
You will become part of Cushman & Wakefield's EMEA Strategic Advisory & Hospitality Research department, supporting the team in various areas of the hotel real estate industry.
Your role will involve supporting research initiatives, assisting with asset management and strategic advisory mandates, and contributing to marketing and visibility strategies across Europe.
Main tasks
As a member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
• Research & Reporting: Contribution in the development of pan-European and market-specific research reports including Hotel Market Beats, Investor Compass, Operator Beats, Market Spotlights, etc.
• Data Management & Analysis: Support hospitality teams across Europe by maintaining and enhancing internal databases, conducting market and financial analyses, and preparing structured reports.
• Asset Management Support: Contribute to the delivery of hotel asset management services, including performance analysis, budgeting assistance, and participation in client communications.
• Strategic Advisory Projects: Provide support on ad-hoc advisory mandates, such as ESG consulting and buy-side due diligence.
• Marketing & Visibility: Contributing to marketing and public relations efforts to elevate the profile of the hospitality team through platforms such as LinkedIn, Hospitality Net, and similar industry platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
• A deep understanding of the hospitality industry, especially key performance indicators (KPIs), hotel financial statements (P&L), and knowledge of major brands.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Experience with financial modelling is advantageous.
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to turn complex information into clear and digestible outputs.
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to learn and execute tasks effectively even with limited directions and supervision.
• High attention to detail structured and organized task execution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
• Strong written and verbal proficiency in English.
