Job Description Summary
The Sub-Regional Workplace Manager will be based in Malaysia and will provide regional leadership and oversight of workplace and facilities management operations across 9 countries and 14 offices, covering approximately 184,000 sq. ft. The portfolio spans with a mix of larger offices supported by on-site teams and smaller locations managed remotely. The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent workplace standards, operational excellence and an engaging employee experience across the sub-region. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership, governance and strategic oversight while working closely with local teams, business stakeholders and service partners.

About the role:
- Provide overall leadership and governance for workplace and facilities management across 9 countries and 14 offices.
- Oversee the delivery of workplace services, facilities operations, building management, vendor performance and workplace standards across the region.
- Lead and support local workplace/facilities teams, ensuring consistent service delivery while allowing for local market requirements.
- Develop and implement regional workplace standards, processes and best practices across the portfolio.
- Partner closely with business leaders, HR and other stakeholders to understand employee needs and continuously improve the workplace experience.
- Drive a hospitality-led and employee-centric workplace environment, creating offices where employees feel welcomed, supported, connected and productive.
- Lead workplace improvement initiatives, office moves, fit-outs, refurbishments and other workplace projects as required.
- Monitor workplace performance, service levels, budgets and key operational metrics across the portfolio.
- Manage and oversee regional vendors, suppliers and service partners, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.
- Conduct regular reviews of workplace operations and identify opportunities for standardisation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Provide regional reporting, insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support workplace strategy and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, collaboration and overall workplace experience.
About you:
- 8+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities management, corporate real estate, hospitality or related fields.
- Proven experience managing multiple offices across different countries, preferably within APAC.
- Strong experience in workplace and employee experience, rather than purely technical facilities management.
- Experience leading or influencing local teams and service providers across multiple markets.
- A strong customer-service and hospitality mindset, with a genuine focus on creating a positive employee experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders and influence across a matrix organisation.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, operational performance and workplace projects.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage a geographically dispersed portfolio.
- Ability to balance regional consistency with local market requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
