FUTURES
The world and industry in which both we and our clients operate is changing rapidly. There are significant behavioural shifts in how we choose to work, shop and live. We are seeing the emergence of new business and operating models, and technology offers exciting prospects to create a better world. With change comes both opportunity and risk. At Cushman & Wakefield we believe in being proactive about change, challenging our clients to think differently about real estate, and taking ownership of our own destiny. Collectively we have called this response ‘Futures’. Futures is made up of a number of initiatives designed to drive innovation and creativity within our business, and drive an industry conversation around change. For more information on the initiatives we are running to stay ahead of the curve, please visit our website.
INSPIRE
Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is an essential aspect of good people management at Cushman & Wakefield, both now and in the future. Our new D&I programme known as Inspire highlights diversity in many forms. Our business seeks to create an all-encompassing workplace where staff can truly be themselves and their differences are respected. It's about valuing everyone in the organisation as an individual, who can then reach their full potential. While UK legislation sets minimum standards, Cushman & Wakefield's D&I programme seeks to go beyond legal compliance to add value for its staff and clients and business. The group operates several different committees committed to diversity and inclusion: Gender, LGBTQ, Mental & Physical Health, Work/Life Solutions, Socio-Economic backgrounds and Ethnicity & Culture.

PERFORMANCE
Cushman & Wakefield is committed to attracting, retaining and developing the best talent in the industry so that we can put our clients at the centre of what’s next in real estate. Critical to this is ensuring we offer clear career paths and a variety of career progression and development opportunities. However, it is up to you to take personal responsibility for your development and own and manage your career at C&W. In order to put our clients and our people at the centre of what’s next we need to ensure we are giving you the right opportunities for regular feedback to enable you to develop in line with business and personal goals. One of the ways we do this is through our mandatory performance management process, which takes bi-annually at C&W.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
We offer a range of Learning and Development solutions to make sure we keep a strong focus on developing our best people at all levels. Our training includes role-aligned blended programmes, online learning courses, team development sessions and personality profiling. Solutions cover a range of topics that include, management/leadership development, business development, operational management, pitching and presenting skills and career development.
Additionally, we offer specific learning opportunities for those people right at the start of their commercial real estate careers.
