In support of Global Occupier Services, our team provides business development support including solution definition, pricing, technology demonstration and delivery for Strategy and Portfolio Administration Services, Transaction & Project Management Transaction, Facilities (IFM), Space & Occupancy, and Financial Management.
This is a full-time position based in Budapest.

Job Description

The role of Technical Services Specialist - Alteryx is responsible for development, support, documentation and governance of the Alteryx workflows in support of GOS Service lines and GOS clients. They are responsible for working with business teams to ensure the Alteryx workflows are running in a manner that is expected from the business. This role includes the following key responsibilities:

Automation & Database Management:

  • Create Technical Specification (design) documents for functional requirements.

  • Understand the underlying data structure of property management systems, in the case namely Tramps (Trace Solutions) and Sequentra (CBRE)

  • Running reports and data checks to ensure data that has been supplied is as expected

  • Run error checks and have knowledge to fix in timely manner – including taking ownership of the resolution through engagement with third party data providers as necessary

  • Maintain relationship with vendor system administrators to notify of erroneous data.

  • Maintain relationship with GOS finance to support in identifying potential erroneous data.

  • Manage existing and create new automations using Alteryx/Python/SSIS (User data, role review, critical date reports, financial reports, etc.).

  • Lead data mapping initiatives to ensure new integrations from additional source systems meet requirements of the data model.

  • Test data loads, data pipelines, and changes to database schema and common data models for new integrations and product releases.

  • Maintain documentation to support on the ongoing management of the Alteryx workflows that are created.

  • Maintain release notes and version control to ensure system and documentation is maintained up to date and supported

BI and Data Analytics – Data movement:

  • Create reports and dashboards in Power BI. Build data models and create measures in DAX occasionally.

  • BI Business Modelling Tasks

  • Provide Support for already existing BI solutions. Conduct root cause analysis on code level in Visual Studio by understanding views and relationships between tables.

  • Test data loads, data pipelines, and changes to database schema and common data models for new integrations and product releases.

  • Handle Bug and Issue Resolution for Automations and Data related issues.

Solution Implementation Assembly Management activities to ensure successful client delivery including:

  • Data Migration and validation activities including mapping, configuration and acceptance testing of new system setup using ETL templates and other data import / export toolsets.

  • Integration and documentation management including data mapping, workflow management, file specification development and documentation and acceptance testing.

  • Report development to support ad hoc reporting, KPI reporting across service lines in support of client deliverables.

  • Facilitate user review and acceptance of application configuration and performance.

  • Provide training and implementation user support during delivery activities.
