We currently require an experienced Cleaner (preferably experienced but willing to train the right candidate) to be based at Auckland Prison working out of the Paremoremo Prison site. You will work as part of a close-knit team comprised of cleaners, trades, facilities managers and a support team. This role is an essential service and an integral part of our community function.
About the Role:
To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service to Cushman & Wakefield client (Department of Corrections) through the effective cleaning of the Prison facilities within contracted time frames.
Carry out cleaning services.
Proactively identify issues and escalate to supervisor, manager.
Adhere to HSSE Q & R policies, site operational procedures and legislative requirements.
Shift work that may be instigated in the future as required.
Must be available to work on the on-call roster in the future as required.
About You:
Preferable if you have some cleaning experience but willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.
Good written and spoken English.
A clean full driver’s licence.

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviours in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s licence.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test, complete a Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and MOJ check. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
