Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Transaction Management Lead to join our Sydney-based team. In this role, you will deliver end-to-end lease transactions across a diverse commercial property portfolio for a key client contract.

As the Transaction Management Lead, you will manage a team of seven and take ownership of critical leasing activities and strategic advisory. This is a key leadership role within the Integrated Portfolio Management team, responsible for achieving service delivery outcomes and ensuring compliance, reporting, and performance targets are met

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate lease negotiations and transactions across a large and varied property portfolio

  • Deliver strategic leasing advice to the client, using data and market insights to drive outcomes

  • Manage and support a team of leasing executives and analysts

  • Liaise with landlords, agents, legal teams, and internal departments to facilitate smooth transactions

  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring delivery against KPIs and SLAs

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in systems, processes, and service delivery

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial leasing or transaction management

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to interpret and leverage data for strategic decision-making

  • Experience working with tools such as CRE Activity Manager (or similar)

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Property, or Business

  • Real Estate License or Agent’s Representative (as per state requirement)

  • Process improvement knowledge (Lean Six Sigma desirable)
